At Sherpani, we're really excited to announce one of our newest brand ambassadors! Being a long time friend of mine as well as a fantastic style blogger, Ximena was an obvious partnership. About three months ago when I started, I knew she would be the perfect representation of our brand culture-- modern, natural and minimal. Whenever I talk with Ximena things seem to err on the brink of the natural realm. We talk about the course of life, travel, yoga, natural treasures, crystals, the effect of the moon, what grounds us and what moves us. When I interviewed her, we spent the day walking around Coney Island taking in the salty air. One thing we definitely share is our love for the ocean! We talked about what cleansed our spirits and our favorite ways to feel connected to this planet. Read on for more >>>

My aspirations are to travel around the world and learn about new cultures while inspiring others to do the same through my photography.

So far this summer I have been to Miami and Puerto Rico. Because I love spending time with my family, I'm on the road between NYC and Connecticut a lot. I'm actually in the car on my way to Michigan right now for Electric Forrest! We are road-tripping there from Connecticut to make a few pit-stops at vintage shops, breweries and delicious restaurants along the way. It's a four day music festival so my boyfriend and I plan to be away for a week. Then I'm taking summer classes at the Fashion Institute of Technology where I'll be invested for the month of July. In August, I'm going to Oregon Eclipse. It's a week long gathering in the amazing Big Summit Prairie National Park to watch the total solar eclipse-- which only happens every 70 years! We are road-tripping cross-country there as well. We may fly half the distance to make the trip shorter. Regardless it should be an amazing trip! Most of my trips are planned last minute or very spontaneously. I think that's what I love most about them!

My most reached for summer accessory is sneakers! I've been so busy I just want to wear sneakers all the time. I love walking around so a comfy shoe is a must. And also these tiny gold hoops I got in Peru. I have sensitive skin so I can't wear non-gold earrings for long.

My favorite current trend is off the shoulder white tops and gingham!

My favorite way to help or feel connected to the Earth is by taking a dip in the ocean. The ocean has so many health benefits for the body with negative ions that balance you out. I could go on in detail about it for hours. But in short, the ocean is truly physically and spiritually cleansing. Another way I feel connected is by walking barefoot in nature or going for a hike. When I feel like I can settle in, I lay down and put one hand on my belly and one over my heart. I take a deep belly breath, hold it at the top and then release.

My go-to Sherpani bag is the Dispatch in Dune! I love how it opens like a little doctor bag. I wear it to run errands, hang with friends and even the beach! I love how practical it is with all it's pockets. I can even fit my MacBook Pro in it so I will definitely be taking it to school when I start up classes again.
